This is the 2024 Korean action/thriller/historical/comedy drama series. Its native title is "수사반장 1958," literally "Chief of Investigation Team 1958," also known as "Chief of Investigation," "Chief Investigator," "Chief Inspector: The Beginning," "Chief of Investigation 1963," "Chief Inspector 1963," "Chief Investigator 1963." It's intended as a prequel to the 1971 Korean show "Chief Inspector."

I downloaded the source videos named like "Chief.Detective.1958.S01E01.1080p.DSNP.WEB-DL.H264.AAC-ADWeb.mkv" and obtained English subtitles for them. Then I...
- Used a linear video editor to seamlessly remove English profanity: episode 1 at 1:06:17 "the hell", and episode 2 at 1:05:11 "Christ", 1:05:26 "the hell", and 1:06:15 "the hell"
- Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues
- Added 0.7 second to each subtitle (where possible) to allow more time to read them and adjusted words/minute to at least 280
- "Softened" all subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> wench etc.)
- Corrected commonly-found typos and converted British terms to American ones
- Used Handbrake to create new MKV files using my subtitles
